Love your insight and ability to get the gorgeous nuggets of information from these people. Great feedback and look forward to the next one. Thank you.
Trying to navigate through three days of testing feels like a journey through fog.
Do more laps = reliability?
How important to performance is the ability to harvest electrical energy and drivers ability to deploy ?
Do Ferrari need to be so positive after last season’s poor showing?
Have the teams with their own powertrain an advantage?
Maybe James Vowles comment “no one truly knows where all the performance lies” is an accurate assessment however as always I return to your post and reckon you have it spot on by quoting Toto Wolf.
In two weeks time we will have a clearer view and will as always revert to your analysis as my beacon of light.
Wow! What an interesting read. It seems that we are in for some exciting viewing this season. The significant comment to me is that the drivers will be more involved in exploiting the potential performance tweaks of the cars. That's all to the good, the more talented and skilful drivers achieving results rather than just the fastest piece of machinery. About time we resolved all the arguments over the relative skills of the older chaps and the new boys. Look after yourself, we need you to keep the commentaries adult and sensible when you are surrounded by over excitable (predominantly male) colleagues. ♥️
I do wonder if Honda are up to it. Do they have the F1 intellectual firepower required after so long out? Very good round-up.
Your insight always so good, was curious how was playing out

Roll on Melbourne, then as Toto says we will see...
My big concern is the potential for large speed differences between cars on the straights approaching corners.
